We cultivate a pipeline of high-impact, performance-driven projects, integrating CIFOR-ICRAF science to enhance design and scalability. We incubate projects that emerge from the CIFOR-ICRAF research portfolio or external sources that can benefit from CIFOR-ICRAF’s information, tools, networks, or methods.
For projects developed with private sector partners, we apply CIFOR-ICRAF’s private sector engagement policy to ensure credibility, expertise, and alignment with social and environmental responsibilities. We systematically review investors’ targets and indicators, analyzing impact through the universally endorsed SDG Matrix, adapted for private-sector projects. This matrix helps us identify project-specific key performance indicators (KPIs), which are tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
Through this approach, RLL offers a portfolio of landscape and supply chain projects that elevate science-based standards in the nature-based solutions (NbS) investment industry alongside key partners.
