About Resilient Landscapes Luxembourg
Science-Driven Investment for Sustainable Impact
Resilient Landscapes Luxembourg (RLL), an initiative of Resilient Landscapes, launched by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF), accelerates and scales private investments in sustainable landscapes. By leveraging CIFOR-ICRAF’s expertise in forestry, agroforestry landscape management, RLL incubates high-impact Nature-based Solutions (NbS) projects that create financial value and ecosystem services.
RLL builds strategic alliances across corporates, investors, governments, and farmers, focusing on the climate-biodiversity nexus and the SDGs.
With 75 years of combined expertise and operations in 60+ countries, CIFOR-ICRAF has created Resilient Landscapes, an interface between science and impact investment. RLL’s rigorous Environmental, Social, and Governance assessments and science-backed solutions empower investors to make meaningful choices for impact and financial performance.
By integrating science with global supply chains and financial markets, we ensure NbS investments effectively mitigate risk, enhance ecosystem services, and deliver tangible impact for nature and people.
